MG Car Club Youth Project

The MG Car Club Johannesburg Centre Youth Project has as its aims to attract younger people to classic motoring. The Youth Project is self financed and focuses on building MG race cars to compete on the track in the Historic Racing series. Young people are involved at all stages of preparing the cars, from a ground up build through to race preparation through to racing the actual cars. It is now in it's fifth year and has achieve much with several members now actively employed within the motor industry and many others participants in motor sport in general. There is no cost implication for Youth Project members other than a nominal MG Car Club annual membership fee and requisite indemnities.
